Gibney Centers in New York City will provide free space to four self-identifying emerging BIPOC dance artists this spring.

Recipients will be selected through a random drawing, and each will receive 40 hours of rehearsal space to be used between April and June. The space giveaway, which is sponsored by the Meringoff Family Foundation, was met with praise on social media.

Applications will be accepted through April 28.
